Genoa did not disappoint in their first game without Radu Dragusin and, in fact, probably deserved to win on points against Torino. Verona edge out Empoli

Verona earned some valuable points in the fight for survival, as they beat Empoli 2-1. Djuric gave the hosts an early lead with a header in the 3rd minute, then Ngonge doubled the score in the 56th minute. The newly-returned Zurkowski reduced the gap in the 64th minute, but in the final half-hour the Tuscans could not snatch a draw (despite having a numerical advantage from the 87th minute due to the expulsion of Duda).

Napoli come back to beat Salernitana in serie A

Thanks to a goal in a scramble by Rrahmani in the 96th minute, Napoli came back to beat Salernitana 2-1 in the 20th round of Serie A, kicked the crisis and rose to 31 points in the standings. Candreva stunned the Maradona stadium with a curling shot from the edge of the box under the crossbar in the 29th minute. In the stoppage time of the first half, the other decisive episode: Fazio kicked Simeone’s foot, Marinelli called by the Var awarded the penalty that Politano converted (49’). The second half was a monologue by the Italian champions who tried in every way and broke through the wall of Salernitana in full recovery with a paw of the Kosovar defender.

Inter crush Monza in Serie A

Inter beat Monza 5-1 in the fourth advance of the 20th round of Serie A and continued their march at the top of the table, temporarily stretching to + 5 over Juventus second. The Nerazzurri directed the match at the U-Power Stadium already in the first half with the goals of Calhanoglu from the penalty spot and Lautaro (12 ‘and 14’).
