The 22nd day of Serie A provided excitement, goals and surprises. Milan lost two precious points in their pursuit of Juventus and Inter, drawing 2-2 against Bologna at the San Siro.

Juve did not imitate Sinner, going no further than 1:1 at home against Empoli. Atalanta, on the other hand, took advantage of their rivals’ missteps, beating Udinese 2-0 to move up to fourth place in the standings.

Milan, two missed penalties and a bitter draw.

Milan had the chance to move to -2 from Juve and -4 from Inter, but wasted two penalties and had to settle for a point against Bologna.
The Rossoneri went ahead in the 29th minute with Zirkzee’s goal, who took advantage of a mistake by Tomori.

Atalanta, show, win and 4th place in Serie A

Atalanta, on the other hand, did their duty and beat Udinese 2-0, moving up to fourth place in the standings with 36 points, one more than Fiorentina. Gasperini’s team dominated the match, showing a sparkling game and realising the opportunities created.

In the 33rd minute the lead came with Ingranchir, who finished off an assist from De Ketelaere; 13 minutes later, Scamacca doubled the lead, taking advantage of another De Ketelaere assist and beating Musso with a left-footed shot.

In the second half, Atalanta managed the result, without taking any risks, and came close to scoring the third through Malinovskyi.

Udinese never troubled the opponent’s goalkeeper, who had a quiet evening.
Atalanta thus won their fifth victory in the last six matches and sent out a strong and clear signal in the Champions League zone.
