Inter confirmed their status as the league’s most in-form team, beating Genoa 2-1 to take their tally of consecutive Serie A victories to nine. A result that is worth +15 on second-placed Juventus and brings the Nerazzurri ever closer to the Scudetto.

The match is not easy for the hosts, who have to sweat to get the better of a tough and determined opponent. The first half balanced, with few chances on either side. The double came six minutes later, thanks to a penalty convert by Sanchez, who was foul in the box by Frendrup.
