The sixth day of Serie A saw the return to success of two of the league’s most emblazoned teams: Inter and Juventus. After a draw against Monza and a defeat in the derby, Simone Inzaghi’s Inter found victory again by beating Udinese 3-2 at the Bluenergy Stadium.
The match began with a flash goal from Davide Frattesi in the first minute, but Udinese responded in the 35th minute with a header from Kabasele. However, Lautaro Martinez put the Nerazzurri back in front with a brace: first with a deflection off Bijol in the first half and then with a precise right-footer from the edge at the start of the second half.
Despite a goal from Lucca in the 83rd minute that made Inter tremble, the team managed to keep the lead and move up to 11 points in the table.
Juventus responds to Inter’s victory
Juventus dominated Genoa with a clear 3-0 win, in a match played behind closed doors at the Ferraris.
After an emotionless first half, the Bianconeri opened the scoring in the 48th minute with Dusan Vlahovic’s penalty, awarded for a foul on De Winter’s hand. The forward then doubled on 57 minutes with a winning diagonal, scoring his second double in the championship.
In the final, Conseicao sealed the deal with his third goal, securing Juventus’ sixth clean sheet in six games and the top of the table, while waiting for Napoli and Torino to respond.
Atalanta never so bad in Serie A
Bologna drew 1-1 against Atalanta at the Dall’Ara, again postponing the appointment with the first home victory. After a first half with little excitement, the game came alive in the second half with Castro’s goal in the 46th minute and Samardzic’s equaliser in the 90th minute, despite Lucumì being sent off in the 50th minute. This day of Serie A therefore saw the big teams get back on track, with Inter and Juventus relaunching their positions in the standings thanks to the goals of their top bombers.
