In the lunch match of the sixth day of Serie A, Torino lost 3-2 at home to Lazio and had to say goodbye to the solitary summit, conquered last week after a 47-year wait. The Biancocelesti unblocked the match after eight minutes thanks to a shot from Guendouzi, served by Nuno Tavares’ fourth assist in as many games.

The Torino team changed gears in the second half with the arrival of Adams, but Dia hit the winning right-footer in the 60th minute. The former Southampton man shortened the gap in the 67th minute. In the 90th minute Noslin, who had only just entered, made it three. Coco scored in the 92nd minute with a half-footed shot. Baroni climbed to 10 points, while Vanoli (sent off) remained at 11.

Lazio made a good start to their adventure under new coach Tudor, a former Juventus defender, by securing victory at the end of a balanced match.

Como and Roma, second game win in a week

Como continued to impress, winning 3-2 at home against Verona. Fabregas’ side dominated the first half, ending 1-0 with Cutrone’s deflected right-footer in the 43rd minute. In the second half Lazovic equalised on a penalty, but Suslov’s sending-off compromised the challenge for the Veneti: Cutrone put the Lombardi back in front in the 72nd minute, then Belotti from the bench closed it out in the 89th minute. Lambourde’s goal in the 94th minute was useless.

At the Stadio Olimpico, the Giallorossi controlled possession in the first half, but the neroverdi played well on the counter, created several chances and unblocked the match with Pohjanpalo (44 minutes) after a Busio post.
In the second half the hosts increased their pace, thanks also to the changes, pushed and overturned the result with a right-footed shot from the limit by Cristante (74‘) deflected by Busio behind Joronen and a framed shot by Pisilli (83’) after a corner.

Napoli won and returned to the lead of Serie A by beating Monza 2-0. Como and Roma also did well, gaining their second consecutive victory.

The Tuscan derbyof Serie A ended without goals and with few emotions.

At the Castellani, in fact, it ended 0-0 between Empoli and Fiorentina, with Palladino’s side trying in the second half with a Gosens volley just wide and de Gea saving on Pezzella. With this draw, D’Aversa rose to 10 points and failed to hook Juve at the summit. The Viola, on the other hand, move up to 7.

Napoli beat Monza 2-0 in the post-match match of the sixth day of Serie A and flew to the top of the standings alone with 13 points, one more than Juventus. At the Maradona it was a blue party with goals in the first half from Politano and Kvaratskhelia paving the way for the success of Conte’s men.
Third defeat in five league games, however, for the Brianzoli, who remain second-to-last in the standings at 3 points.
