Vincere è difficile, convincere l'anno dopo e rivincere il campionato è un tassello che i nerazzurri possono aggiungere al puzzle di questa storia gloriosa. Trionfare per due anni di fila in Serie A, non succede da diverso tempo e Cristian Chivu vuole ripetersi in Italia e forse in Europa. Forse perchè questa Inter ha l'obiettivo di fare meglio della scorsa stagione e ha il dovere di provarci.

L'abbondanza del centrocampo dell'Inter è sicuramente un tema rilevante in questo inizio di stagione. Chivu ha la possibilità di scegliere ogni volta tra sette giocatori per tre ruoli, un'abbondanza inusuale per una squadra del campionato italiano. Ma è anche possibile che con l'arrivo di Curtis Jones lo schieramento diventi a volte un 3-4-2-1 con l'inglese nel ruolo di trequartista esterno sinistro.
Cristian Chivu proverà l’ebbrezza di sentirsi l’allenatore di una squadra top della Premier League. Salvo offerte irrinunciabili (ad esempio per Stankovic) e al netto della situazione di Luis Henrique che sembra destinato a rimanere, le ultime cessioni dovrebbero essere quelle già chiuse di Asllani (Al-Jazira), Massolin (Cagliari) e Kamaté (Atlético Madrid).
Gli ultimi giorni di mercato potrebbero riservare un colpo a sorpresa, ma sembra tutto molto difficile. Senza l'uscita del brasiliano è complicato inserire un attaccante in grado di creare la superiorità numerica, cosa richiesta da Chivu e che sarebbe la ciliegina sulla torta di un grande mercato.
Rimane il fatto che la rosa dell'Inter sia, rispetto allo scorso anno e a quelli con Inzaghi, più completa, omogenea e, per certi versi, competitiva.
Le aspettative per questa stagione sono alte, le ambizioni pure e dopo le due vittorie con Monza e Cagliari si punta a sfatare un vecchio mito, quello dei big match non vinti. L'appuntamento col destino sarà sabato 5 settembre, quando a San Siro arriverà un Napoli ferito, ma pieno di voglio di rivalsa.
