A un anno dalla scadenza del contratto con l’Arsenal, l’Inter sembrerebbe aver messo gli occhi su Gabriel Martinelli. I Gunners, campioni uscenti della Premier League, non ritengono più il brasiliano incedibile e per i nerazzurri potrebbe rappresentare un’opportunità per completare il reparto offensivo anche se l'attaccante sembra essere vicino a firmare per l'Arabia . La suggestione, proveniente dal Brasile, sarebbe la perfetta conclusione del mercato estivo nerazzurro. Il famoso quinto attaccante con caratteristiche diverse tanto cercato negli ultimi anni da Marotta e Ausilio potrebbe essere proprio il classe 2001dell’Arsenal. Un’altra operazione in entrata, però, rischierebbe di innescare una possibile cessione, con Luis Henrique che rimane l’indiziato principale dati gli interessi della Roma e di qualche club della Premier League.
Dal Brasile alla Premier: l’ascesa di Martinelli
Nato e cresciuto in Brasile, Gabriel Martinelli ha iniziato la carriera nelle giovanili del Corinthians e successivamente in quelle del Flamengo. Nel 2018, con il passaggio al Ituano, il giocatore si è definitivamente messo in mostra, arrivando ad attirare l’attenzione delle grandi squadre europee. Molto rapido e bravo nel dribbling, il brasiliano porterebbe a Milano quelle qualità che sono mancate ai nerazzurri negli ultimi anni, anche per incidere di più in Champions League.
Una stagione a due volti
Se a livello quantitativo il brasiliano non ha vissuto di sicuro la miglior stagione in campionato, l’esito finale l’ha trasformata nel momento più bello della sua carriera. La vittoria della Premier lo ha consacrato nella storia di un club prestigioso come l’Arsenal e, per un ragazzo che inseguiva questo sogno dal 2019, battere il Manchester City e arrivare al primo posto vale ancora di più. I suoi contributi sono stati comunque notevoli: 30 partite disputate, condite da 1 gol e 4 assist. Ma la vera natura di Martinelli si è vista in Champions League. Un percorso storico dei Gunners che hanno sfiorato la coppa dalle grandi orecchie, persa soltanto in finale ai rigori contro il Psg. In questa competizione, però, l’attaccante ha mostrato una delle sue migliori versioni, mettendo a segno 6 gol e 2 assist. Numeri che raccontano quanto il brasiliano sia stato capace di alzare il livello nei momenti fondamentali della stagione, conquistando un ruolo da leader e raggiungendo una maturità sempre maggiore.
Il jolly per Chivu
La dirigenza nerazzurra, dopo un mese di agosto infuocato, vuole regalare a Cristian Chivu un altro tassello da aggiungere a una rosa che, già adesso, è molto lunga. Dalla fine dello scorso campionato si parlava di un possibile cambio modulo e la curiosità era rimbalzata su come l’Inter avrebbe effettivamente impostato il mercato in entrata. Cambiare il 3-5-2 è molto difficile, soprattutto se già consolidato come nel caso della Beneamata, e mister Chivu questo lo sa.
Nessuna rivoluzione, infatti, ma solo pedine forti da aggiungere dove necessario. Dopo aver, però, risolto le carenze principali, i nerazzurri si vogliono regalare un giocatore in grado di cambiare l’assetto tattico offensivo. Gabriel Martinelli, classica ala da attacco a 3, potrebbe finalmente dare l’opportunità a Chivu di schierarsi anche con il 3-4-2-1 e rendere l’Inter più imprevedibile, qualità di cui negli ultimi anni i nerazzurri hanno patito l’assenza. Il suo arrivo e successivo impiego, potrebbero rendere la vita più facile ai suoi compagni di reparto, come Lautaro e Pio che, da prime punte, avrebbero meno lavoro da fare rispetto a quello attuale.
Marotta e Ausilio lo stanno seguendo e dopo essere riusciti a trattare con Tottenham e Liverpool, rispettivamente per Spence e Curtis Jones, adesso è il turno dell’Arsenal, per completare un’Inter sempre più da Premier League.
