La vigilia del primo big match stagionale dell'Inter contro il Napoli è anche l'occasione per il primo saluto ufficiale al nuovo Direttore Sportivo Dario Baccin. Le sue prime parole in questa nuova veste sono di ricordo per l'indimenticato e indimenticabile Giacinto Facchetti, nel giorno in cui ricorrono i 20 anni dalla sua scomparsa. Dopo il doveroso e sentito omaggio ad uno dei monumenti del club nerazzurro, Baccin ha ringraziato il Presidente Marotta e il suo predecessore Piero Ausilio, con il quale ha condiviso gli ultimi dieci anni e che gli ha permesso di accogliere il suo nuovo ruolo con entusiasmo e serenità morale.

La scorsa stagione si è conclusa con l'Inter Campione d'Italia nonostante non sia riuscita a battere né il Napoli (una sconfitta ed un pareggio) né il Milan (due sconfitte). E allora Chivu pensa più all'obiettivo finale che ai vari ostacoli o passi falsi che si possono presentare nel cammino appena iniziato. L'Inter sa dove vuole arrivare, sta lavorando nel migliore dei modi per essere competitiva sempre, ma questo non esclude che a volte si possa sbagliare e qualche volta anche perdere. La sfida tra il tecnico rumeno e Massimiliano Allegri sarà particolarmente interessante, dato che lo scorso anno entrambi gli scontri sono terminati a favore del neo allenatore del Napoli. Allegri, seppur a volte criticato per il suo modo di mettere in campo le sue squadre non particolarmente spumeggiante, gode di tutta la stima di Chivu, che non dimentica tutti i trofei vinti e riconosce la grande esperienza e le capacità del tecnico avversario. "Noi dobbiamo fare del nostro meglio. Non giocano gli allenatori ma le squadre, sia noi sia il Napoli abbiamo ambizione". Per l'Inter ogni partita è uno scontro diretto, ed ha imparato dallo scorso anno: dopo ogni sconfitta o momento difficile è arrivata una grande reazione da parte dei nerazzurri, e dovrà essere così anche quest'anno. Dopo un inizio positivo, è necessario continuare a progredire
L'inizio di Campionato per l'Inter è stato positivo, sei punti in due partite nelle quali si sono già viste tante buone cose, come le tantissime occasioni da gol create e le buone trame di gioco. La condizione non è ancora al massimo, alcuni giocatori stanno completando la preparazione, ma di partita in partita il Mister vuole vedere un progresso costante sia nel ritmo che nelle attenzioni difensive che nelle manovre di gioco. I tifosi sono curiosi di vedere in campo i nuovi acquisti, specialmente i tre inglesi che per ora hanno giocato soltanto alcuni scampoli di partita. Per Spence, che non ha ancora fatto il suo debutto in nerazzurro, ci sarà da aspettare ancora un po' (il suo piccolo problemino fisico non è ancora risolto totalmente). Ma non dimentichiamo che devono ancora farsi vedere in questa stagione giocatori del calibro di Carlos Augusto e Mhikitaryan, che non sono ancora mai entrati in campo: “Io sono curioso di quelli che sono sempre parte fondamentale del gruppo negli anni trascorsi e in quello che fanno vedere nel quotidiano.” In questa lunghissima stagione appena cominciata, tutti avranno modo di far vedere quello che valgono e di dare il loro contributo per aiutare la squadra.
Chi giocherà domani?
Come al solito, mister Chivu non dà alcuna anticipazione su chi saranno gli undici titolari della sfida contro il Napoli: ha a disposizione 25 giocatori, e la sua bravura deve essere quella di riuscire a giro ad accontentare tutti. Non è semplice, ma la mentalità deve essere quella di guardare insieme verso lo stesso obiettivo: prima viene il collettivo, la squadra, poi i singoli. Chiunque parta dal primo minuto ha la stessa importanza di chi subentra a partita in corsa. “La bravura è andare nella stessa direzione”.
