We are now there, after finishing a historic season, in which the snake carved a heroic double in stone and completed it for the third time in Inter's history, our minds and thoughts go to only one thing: the post-holiday summer. The World Cup will keep several top players busy, but the Nerazzurri group will find themselves in Appiano Gentile with an Italian backbone already ready to sweat under Cristian Chivu's orders. The failure to participate in the world championship of some key elements of the squad will in fact allow the coach to have the blue block at his disposal from the first day of the meeting. Many stops and journeys from Europe to Asia, from Germany to Perth.
Prima tappa: il ritiro in Germania
The lead-up to the championship will officially begin in mid-July. After the usual athletic tests and ritual visits to Milan, the Italian champions will fly to Germany, to Baden-Württemberg. The high-altitude retreat in the southwestern German region will last around ten days. It will be a golden opportunity for the fans who will follow the team over 500 kilometers away from San Siro: between a visit to the Porsche and Mercedes museums in Stuttgart and a tour of the castles in the area, the Nerazzurri supporters will have several chances to get autographs and photos from their heroes, who are finally rested.
Agosto di fuoco: Hong Kong e il Derby d'Australia
Once the German interlude is over, the program will become decidedly more international. Inter will return to Italy briefly and then embark on a global tour of around 30 thousand kilometres. Direction? Hong Kong. In which the beloved will face a remake of the 2022/23 Champions League final, in the luxury test against Manchester City. In Australia, the closing of the tour will see two top-level Serie A starters, with the Milan derby, in an exotic venue, and the Italian Derby, to be played in Perth against Milan and Juventus. A summer full of commitments and transoceanic trips, designed to consolidate the brand abroad but above all to test the team's resistance against the big names in world football before cutting the ribbons for the new season, in which the Italian champions will want to demonstrate that they still have the same hunger as the year now in its final stages.
