Le difficoltà che la Lazio deve affrontare sembrano non avere fine: ora c’è anche il problema punta. Gattuso non ritiene Ratkov pronto e ha bisogno di un attaccante di esperienza a costo zero. Il West Ham ha così offerto al club biancoceleste Niclas Fullkrug, tornato dall’esperienza negativa col Milan. L’ex allenatore della nazionale italiana ci sta riflettendo: deve fare di necessità virtù in un mercato a saldo zero che non permetterà colpi da novanta per il club di Lotito.
Il piano della Lazio per sistemare l’attacco
Sono anni difficili per i tifosi laziali, costretti a vedere la propria squadra non riuscire a fare il salto di qualità per un mercato in cui le spese non devono superare i guadagni provenienti dalle cessioni. Gattuso, che ha raccolto le redini da Sarri, dovrà accontentarsi delle occasioni che gli verranno proposte. Una di queste potrebbe essere Fullkrug, che il west ham non ritiene più centrale nel proprio progetto. Il tedesco trentatreenne guadagna 3,5 milioni di euro all’anno, ma sarebbe disposto ad abbassarsi lo stipendio pur di tornare in Italia dopo che col Milan non è riuscito ad essere incisivo. La Lazio può prenderlo solo in prestito ma prima dovrebbe fare qualche cessione seppur di poco conto per poter offrire alla punta uno stipendio di un milione e mezzo circa. Col West Ham Füllkrug ha ancora un contratto fino al 2028 e gli inglesi sperano che con un altro prestito possa dimostrare di essere ancora decisivo per poi cederlo definitivamente la prossima estate. La situazione è in evoluzione ma prima bisogna convincere Gattuso che sta valutando attentamente la sua rosa.
Un declino che nasce post Europeo 2024, ma Fullkrug non si arrende
Sembrano lontani i tempi in cui l’attaccante faceva impazzire di gioia, con i suoi gol, i tifosi tedeschi, eppure tutto ciò accadeva solo due anni fa, durante gli europei. Il West Ham lo acquistò convinto di aver preso una punta di calibro che avrebbe chiuso alla grande la sua carriera con loro, e invece in un anno e mezzo ha raccolto solo 3 gol in 29 partite. Un bottino troppo magro per i propositi con cui si era presentato e per la cifra spesa dagli Hammers per acquistarlo: 30 milioni di euro. L’occasione per il rilancio però si è presentata subito, più precisamente lo scorso gennaio: il Milan dopo tutte le problematiche con Gimenez aveva bisogno di un nove vero e proprio e decise di prendere in prestito proprio l’ex centravanti della nazionale tedesca. Subito dopo due settimane dall’arrivo segna regalando la vittoria ai rossoneri contro il Lecce. Tutti pensavano che fosse solo l’inizio e invece il classe ‘93 non ha più dato il suo contributo. In 20 partite quella rete resterà l’unica e i rossoneri decisero di non riscattarlo a fine anno, nonostante il tedesco avesse ancora tanta voglia di rimanere a Milano. Ora potrebbero aprirsi nuove possibilità sempre in Italia, impensabile fino a pochi mesi fa, ma le vie del calciomercato sono infinite.
Idea low cost ma le problematiche persisteranno
Se Gattuso si dovesse convincere si ritroverebbe in rosa 5 punte: Fullkrug, Dia, Noslin, Ratkov e Artistico. Va chiarito che nessuno è immune dal calciomercato: se dovesse arrivare un’offerta remunerativa che sbloccherebbe di fatto il mercato, Lotito non ci penserà due volte. È il caso di Dia, che è il titolare, ma che è anche l’unico su cui contare per una cessione remunerativa. Noslin per Gattuso può rappresentare il Jolly del suo modulo, il 4-2-3-1, visto che lui può giocare in tutti i ruoli dalla trequarti in poi. Ratkov purtroppo non è ritenuto abbastanza maturo e un prestito potrebbe fargli bene. Nelle prime uscite estive gli è stato preferito Gabriele Artistico reduce da una retrocessione con lo Spezia in C nonostante le sue 13 reti. Una sua permanenza non è da escludere ma su di lui c’è l’interessamento del Frosinone. Fullkrug rappresenterebbe la soluzione immediata con cui però non sarà possibile creare un progetto a lungo termine. Gattuso accetterà o meno questa proposta ? Questo è tutto da scoprire, ma quel che è certo è che l’ex CT dell’Italia ha un’altra gatta da pelare, ma col suo carattere non si farà certo abbattere, nonostante i presupposti non siano dei migliori.

His permanence cannot be ruled out but Frosinone is interested in him. Fullkrug would represent the immediate solution with which however it will not be possible to create a long-term project. Will Gattuso accept this proposal or not? This remains to be discovered, but what is certain is that the former Italy coach has another problem to solve, but with his character he will certainly not be discouraged, even though the conditions are not the best.
