Il Milan dopo giorni di tanta confusione ha trovato l'accordo con Ruben Amorim e anche con il nuovo Head of Football e con il direttore sportivo: scelti Markus Krösche e Timmo Hardung. Cardinale e Ibrahimovic puntano sui due giovani dirigenti tedeschi.
Il club rossonero ha raggiunto un'intesa verbale e totale con Markus Krösche, che si libererà dunque dall'Eintracht Francoforte per cui lavorava dal giugno 2021. Insieme a lui, in rossonero arriverà anche il fidato collaboratore Timmo Hardung, che sarà il nuovo responsabile del mercato.
Chi è Krosche?
Dopo gli inizi da assistente allenatore nel Paderborn e poi al Bayer Leverkusen, la carriera da direttore tecnico inizia nella stagione 2017/2018 di nuovo al Paderborn, per poi proseguire al Lipsia e all'Eintracht Francoforte.
Nel suo personale palmarès ci sono una Europa League e una serie di finali di coppa e piazzamenti anche da responsabile dell'area tecnica del Lipsia. Tra le intuizioni di mercato più azzeccate ci sono invece l'ingaggio al Lipsia del centrale croato Gvardiol (acquistato per 36 milioni di euro e rivenduto a 90), ma soprattutto quelle risalenti al suo periodo a Francoforte: i vari Pacho, Ekitike, Kolo Muani e Marmoush da soli hanno fruttato al club tedesco qualcosa come 305 milioni di euro.
La scelta del club di Via Aldo Rossi su Markus Krösche ha preso definitivamente piede dopo che è stata abbandonata la pista che conduceva a Rangnick che, al termine di una serie di contatti esplorativi nei quali aveva presentato i suoi programmi, non ha più ricevuto alcun riscontro e ha preferito rinnovare il suo contratto da dt dell'Austria.

Col probabile arrivo a Milano del prossimo ex direttore tecnico dell'Eintracht Francoforte, nel nuovo team di lavoro farà parte anche il classe '89 Timmo Hardung, che ha definitivamente sopravanzato l'altro candidato ds Devin Ozek (ex Fenerbache, oggi al Bayer Leverkusen). Dopo gli inizi con vari incarichi nell'Hoffenheim, è pronto a seguire Krösche al Milan dopo aver collaborato pure nel Lipsia e nell'Eintracht. Inizia così la nuova era del Diavolo.
