Si è conclusa la fase a gironi della Serie A Women’s Cup che ha visto le 12 squadre della massima serie femminile in campo. Dopo tre giornate Sassuolo, Juventus, Inter e Roma hanno conquistato la semifinale con la novità del Sassuolo che ha preso il posto della Lazio rispetto alla passata edizione vinta dalle bianconere.

Le neroverdi erano l’unica squadra sicura di giocare le semifinali già prima degli ultimi 90′ di gioco. Al sabato il gruppo B ha alzato il sipario sull’ultima giornata con il 2-0 al ‘Ricci’ del Sassuolo, che ha chiuso in testa il girone, sulla Ternana Women, grazie alle reti di Galabadaarachchi al 9′ e di Palakovics al 33’. Vince anche la Roma che regola 3-0 la Fiorentina, al Tre Fontane. Doppietta per Greggi a segno al 19′ e a 8′ dal termine mentre al 90′ il 3-0 definitivo porta la firma di Van Dooren. Chiude in testa a punteggio pieno il gruppo C, invece, la Juventus che piega, a Biella, per 1-0 il Milan, decide Ana Capeta al 78′, con le bianconere che avranno la possibilità di difendere il titolo vinto a Castellammare di Stabia lo scorso anno.

All’ora di pranzo della domenica vince il primo storico derby lariano, invece, il Como Women che batte 2-1 il Como 1907. Al ‘Mino Favini’ passano avanti le ospiti che al quarto d’ora segnano con Wullaert ma l’autorete di Olofsson pareggia i conti. Nella ripresa, nonostante il rosso per Gilardi, il Como Women ribalta la gara al 12′ con Vigilucci che fissa il 2-1 definitivo. A chiudere la competizione le sfide del girone A. Napoli Women e Parma si è chiusa, al ‘Piccolo’, per 1-0 con rete nel secondo tempo di Faurskov, in un match che valeva poco ai fini della classifica. Al ‘Brera’ per il primato del girone si sono sfidate, invece, Inter e Lazio. Vantaggio biancoceleste con Monnecchi poco dopo il quarto d’ora mentre Vilhjálmsdóttir ristabilisce la parità al 40′. Nella ripresa, al 7′, sorpasso nerazzurro con Tomasevic che vale il 2-1 mentre nel finale di gara Raphino chiude la sfida sul definitivo 3-1.
The group stage of the Serie A Women's Cup has concluded and saw the 12 teams from the top women's division on the field. After three days, Sassuolo, Juventus, Inter and Roma reached the semi-final with Sassuolo taking the place of Lazio compared to the previous edition won by the Bianconere.

The Neroverdi were the only team sure of playing in the semi-finals even before the last 90 minutes of the game. On Saturday, group B raised the curtain on the last day with a 2-0 win over Sassuolo's 'Ricci', who finished top of the group, over Ternana Women, thanks to goals from Galabadaarachchi in the 9th minute and Palakovics in the 33rd minute. Roma also won, beating Fiorentina 3-0, at Tre Fontane. Greggi scored a brace in the 19th minute and 8th minute from the end while in the 90th minute the final 3-0 was scored by Van Dooren. However, Juventus finishes top of group C with full points, defeating Milan 1-0 in Biella, Ana Capeta decides in the 78th minute, with the Bianconere having the chance to defend the title won in Castellammare di Stabia last year.

At lunchtime on Sunday, Como Women won the first historic Larian derby, beating Como 1907 2-1. At the 'Mino Favini' the guests took the lead and scored with Wullaert in the quarter of an hour but Olofsson's own goal equalized the scores.
