Costantino Favasuli sembrava ad un passo dal vestire la maglia del Napoli: 8 milioni di euro al Catanzaro e per il giocatore un contratto fino al 2031 con opzione fino al 2032. Ma nelle ultime ore nella trattativa si è inserita anche la Juve, che potrebbe scombinare i piani di Manna.
Il jolly perfetto per le fasce
Massimiliano Allegri sta per avere il suo rinforzo sulla fascia destra: si tratta di Costantino Favasuli, esterno destro estremamente duttile, che può giocare anche da terzino, quinto di centrocampo o sulla corsia di sinistra. Costantino Favasuli nasce nella prestigiosa scuola calcio Segato di Reggio Calabria, autentica fucina di talenti del Sud Italia, dove, nel 2018, viene notato dalla Fiorentina, che lo inserisce nel proprio settore giovanile. A Firenze completa l'intero percorso di formazione fino alla Primavera, vincendo due Coppe Italia Primavera e una Supercoppa Primavera, distinguendosi per affidabilità, maturità tattica e capacità di ricoprire più ruoli sulla corsia laterale. Dopo le esperienze in prestito con Ternana e Bari, la svolta arriva con il trasferimento a titolo definitivo al Catanzaro nell'estate 2025. La scorsa stagione è stata fondamentale per il giocatore: si è affermato come uno dei migliori esterni della Serie B, giocando 42 partite e mettendo a referto 2 gol e 9 assist.

Tuttavia l'inserimento a sorpresa della Juventus nella trattativa potrebbe sparigliare le carte. La Vecchia Signora sulla destra è teoricamente al completo, avendo appena acquisito Celik e avendo già in rosa Kalulu. Quella di Carnevali per Favasuli si dimostrerà soltanto un'azione di “disturbo” nei confronti dei partenopei oppure c'è davvero l'intenzione di affondare il colpo? Non è escluso che la mossa possa far alzare il prezzo del cartellino, costringendo il Napoli a velocizzare le operazioni.
