Florentino Perez ha deciso di festeggiare la sua freschissima rielezione alla presidenza del Real Madrid con un vero e proprio botto di mercato. I Blancos sono usciti allo scoperto e hanno svelato tramite un comunicato a chi era indirizzata l'offerta di 150 milioni preannunciata negli scorsi giorni dal presidente stesso. L'obiettivo era Julián Álvarez, attaccante argentino dell'Atletico Madrid. La risposta dei cugini, però, non si è fatta attendere ed è stata un secco due di picche. Dopo giorni passati a fare nomi su nomi per il prossimo "Galactico" del Real — tra i corridoi di mercato giravano i profili di (Vitinha, Kvaratskhelia, Dembelé e Olise) alla fine il presidente rieletto dei madrileni ha spiazzato tutti puntando dritto sulla stella dei rivali cittadini.

La conferma di questa incredibile mossa è arrivata direttamente dal sito del Real Madrid, che ha pubblicato una nota ufficiale per spiegare la situazione. Un fatto decisamente insolito, visto che nel comunicato i Blancos hanno dovuto ammettere subito il rifiuto da parte della squadra di Diego Simeone. Questa mossa ufficiale arriva dopo settimane di tensione e punzecchiature tra le grandi di Spagna. Solo pochi giorni fa, l'Atletico si era dovuto difendere dalle voci di un forte interessamento per Alvarez da parte del Barcellona. I Colchoneros avevano reagito in modo ironico, pubblicando sui social delle finte offerte assurde per i gioielli dei catalani, a partire da Lamine Yamal.
L'ironia ma anche la fermezza non è mancata anche nella risposta social al comunicato del Real. L'Atletico ha prima reagito con una serie di faccine sorridenti e poi due post successivi con delle parole non proprio dolci verso i cugini.
Ma non è tutto perché pochi secondi dopo sono arrivati ben altri due post. E stavolta con dichiarazioni di fuoco contro il club di Florentino.
Il secondo post si apre con “Dichiarazione ufficiale con i nostri chiarimenti in merito a quanto detto dai nostri vicini”, Poi arriva un elenco di 4 punti più uno in un terzo e ultimo messaggio.
1. Il vostro video in cui il Papa afferma di essere anche un tifoso dell'Atlético è stato interrotto bruscamente (il riferimento è a un recente filmato in cui il Santo Padre afferma di essere tifoso del Real, ndr).
2. Forse avete confuso la cortesia con la gratitudine, ma per essere chiari: non vi ringraziamo per nulla.
3. Non prendiamo in considerazione né valutiamo alcuna offerta per Julián.
4. Come potremmo non andare d'accordo, quando ci fate ridere ancora più del Barcellona?
Il messaggio conclusivo recita: “Approfittando del buon rapporto con il vostro nuovo presidente, vediamo se smettete di "rubare" giocatori dalla nostra Academy. Grazie mille!”.
Non si scherza più
Quello che sembrava un gioco di provocazioni estive, adesso è diventato una trattativa reale e caldissima con l'inserimento prepotente di Florentino Perez. Al momento l'Atletico Madrid ha alzato un vero e proprio muro per tenersi stretto l'argentino, attenendosi alla clausola rescissoria inserita nel contratto del “Arana” rinnovato fino al 2030, corrispondente a 500 milioni di euro ma le voci dicono che la partita non sia affatto finita qui.
