Tante occasioni sprecate e il rammarico per Lautaro e compagni, che dopo una grande prestazione al Bernabeu rilancia e carica la squadra.
"Questa è una competizione di dettagli, quindi quando sbagli paghi il prezzo. Oggi i due errori subito all'inizio della gara, approcciandola bene, gestendo il pallone, gestendo il possesso... "È una squadra che loro lotta per vincere la Champions, come noi, che è il nostro obiettivo. Perché come ho detto ieri in conferenza, tutte le competizioni che iniziano con questa maglia sono sempre un obiettivo".
Rimane la prestazione ma c'è tanta amarezza perché si esce dal Bernabeu con 0 punti, e con degli errori che in Europa non ti perdonano. "L'amarezza è questa. Prendere pochi tiri, sicuramente sì, la ripartenza, perché loro hanno due giocatori velocissimi. Poi accompagnano con Bellingham, poi è entrato l'altro ragazzo. Quindi sono giocatori che hanno tantissima gamba. Non siamo riusciti ad approfittare anche di tutte le occasioni che abbiamo avuto. Alla fine usciamo testa alta perché abbiamo giocato una partita di altissimo livello contro un grandissimo avversario".
Arrivano infine i complimenti al portiere Belga che ha tenuto a galla il Real Madrid "Sicuramente abbiamo affrontato uno dei migliori portieri al mondo, però c'è un po' del nostro anche. Dobbiamo migliorare sotto a porta, anche se abbiamo affrontato un portiere di grandissimo livello. Potevamo fare meglio. Bisogna uscire testa alta, migliorare in questo aspetto e poi andare avanti. Come ho detto prima, è la prima partita, ancora manca tanto cammino, ma dobbiamo cambiare il passo e cercare la prima vittoria nella prossima partita".
Rimane anche la consapevolezza di aver giocato in uno stadio ricco di storia, contro un club fortissimo, ma Lautaro sprona i suoi per le prossime partite "Siamo consapevoli di aver affrontato un avversario fortissimo e siamo stati al loro livello".
Ci sono sconfitte che portano con sé qualcosa di buono, l'Inter deve ripartire dai propri errori e farne tesoro per costruire un cammino europeo incredibile.
