Dopo quattro lunghi mesi di attesa si ricomincia: è finalmente tornata la UEFA Champions League. La massima competizione europea per club riparte con la sua League Phase, dopo i preliminari ultimati mercoledì 26 agosto.
La strada verso Madrid
Le squadre migliori d'Europa ripartono con un grande sogno: partecipare alla finale della competizione, in programma sabato 5 giugno 2027 all'Estadio Metropolitano di Madrid. la capitale spagnola (in particolare lo stadio dell'Atletico) torna ad ospitare l'atto conclusivo del torneo dopo 8 anni. In quell'occasione si scontrarono Liverpool e Tottenham, con i Reds che hanno trionfato grazie al rigore di Salah e al gol di Origi, arrivati in apertura (il primo) e in chiusura di partita.
Tornando ancora più indietro nel tempo ecco una finale memorabile per il calcio italiano, sempre disputata a Madrid. Si tratta ovviamente di quelle della stagione 2009/2010, in cui l'Inter sconfisse il Bayern Monaco con la doppietta di Milito, centrando il Triplete.

The best teams in Europe start again with a great dream: to participate in the final of the competition, scheduled for Saturday 5 June 2027 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid. the Spanish capital (in particular the Atletico stadium) returns to host the final act of the tournament after 8 years. On that occasion Liverpool and Tottenham clashed, with the Reds triumphing thanks to Salah's penalty and Origi's goal, which came at the start (the first) and at the end of the match. Going back even further in time here is a memorable final for Italian football, again played in Madrid. These are obviously those of the 2009/2010 season, in which Inter defeated Bayern Munich with Milito's brace, achieving the treble.
