La Juventus ormai rimane un ricordo in bianco e nero, più nero che bianco, visto come si è conclusa la sua avventura con la maglia della vecchia signora. A leggere le notizie di qualche mese fa, il suo addio a Torino sembrava imputabile soprattutto alle richieste economiche di Dusan Vlahovic, le stesse che l'attaccante, ora al Besiktas, ha rimandato al mittente: "Si è parlato tantissimo del mio possibile rinnovo e capisco i tifosi che leggono quello che viene scritto sui giornali e sui social, ma la verità è che io non ho mai avuto una sola conversazione concreta con la dirigenza. L'ultima volta li ho sentiti il 2 giugno e quella conversazione si è conclusa senza un accordo; da allora non c'è stato più alcun contatto."
Il rapporto con i tifosi
Più chiaramente: "Io non ho posto condizioni. C'erano solo commenti, ma tutto è rimasto a quel livello". La narrazione poi portata dai giornalisti ha contribuito a creare tensione con i tifosi e con l'ambiente, come in occasione della festa in famiglia di un'estate fa allo Stadium, quando fu fischiato: "È stato difficile, non è piacevole quando lo stadio ti fischia durante l'amichevole con la Next Gen".

Tornando poi all'ultima stagione, iniziata in panchina, il serbo non si è certo tirato indietro nell'attaccare la Juventus: "Ho iniziato la stagione in panchina perché stavo entrando nell'ultimo anno di contratto. Certo, erano arrivati anche due nuovi attaccanti, ma, secondo me, quella è stata l'unica ragione per cui ho iniziato la stagione in panchina. Mi dispiace molto e mi addolora profondamente che non fossimo al livello richiesto per competere per obiettivi più ambiziosi, per vincere trofei, perché questa è la realtà quotidiana alla Juventus".
In questa vicenda entrambi probabilmente hanno perso, ma con ogni probabilità non tutte le colpe sono imputabili a un singolo. Resta comunque il rammarico: Vlahovic, arrivato con l'idea di diventare un simbolo della Juventus, è invece passato a essere un giocatore del Besiktas, con il quale rimane solo il legame al bianco e nero.
