Mosconi regala il pareggio all’Inter U23
The match between Inter U23 and Team Altamura cannot be something banal, indeed, for many it is the debut among the greats and, for almost everyone, the debut at home. In a match with two faces, Stefano Vecchi's team suffers from the unpredictability and high pace of Team Altamura, who closes the half at 0-1 with Grande's goal. In the second half, however, everything changed: Stefano Vecchi's team entered the field with a completely different spirit, immediately managing to equalize with Mosconi's penalty. In the final, neither team managed to find the winning goal, with Inter U23 coming close several times. The match ends at 1-1.
Il primo tempo finisce 1-0 per l’Altamura
The Nerazzurri's approach to the match is clean, compact and orderly, even if, already in the first minutes, what will be the main difficulty of the entire first half emerges: the unpredictability of Team Altamura's wingers. In fact, Memushaj's team often looks for Grande and, above all, Rosafio, with the number 7 creating more than a few problems for Marello, often forced to rely on Jakirovic's closures. But, despite everything, the team coached by Stefano Vecchi does not suffer particularly, also thanks to a very respectable first half for the defense trio, and even manages to get close to the penalty area a few times. Inter U23's main weapon is the class and imagination of Mancuso, Lavelli and Mosconi, who often manage to skip Altamura's first pressure, despite failing to find the decisive play in the last 15 metres. Minutes pass and the U23s are unable to penetrate the opposing defence, which in the defensive phase goes to five and concedes nothing. And it is precisely when Stefano Vecchi's team loses the ball that Team Altamura goes wild. Grande's goal was born precisely from this dynamic: Inter U23 lost possession, the Apulian team restarted, speeding towards the Nerazzurri centre-backs, who couldn't do much, and, after a back-and-forth, the number 16 in the red and white shirt put it into the net for the lead. For Inter U23, the only real opportunities worthy of note are the two free kicks from Marello, which involve Perucchini, who is always very good at lowering the shutters. A deserved advantage for the Apulian team, good at making themselves dangerous several times in the opponent's penalty area, without however risking almost anything behind.
Mosconi regala il pareggio all’Inter U23
Inter U23's attitude in the second half is that of a team that does not want to stand by and watch, in fact, quite the opposite: they enter the pitch with a knife between their teeth and determined to draw the match straight away. The attitude was the right one and, after just 5 minutes, Mosconi took care of winning a penalty kick, which was then scored by the number 30 himself, thus making it 1-1. The goal gives new life and new enthusiasm to the team, which makes the visiting defense tremble for the first fifteen minutes. The creators of this Nerazzurri "siege" are, above all, Mosconi and Bovio. The number 30, in addition to scoring the equalizer, with his play creates more than a few headaches for Pacia and Pirrello, who struggle to stop him and often allow him to finish from outside. As for Leonardo Bovio, his is an all-round performance, made up of decisive and determined interventions, resorting to fouls when needed, always very intelligent ball management and forward progressions that remove references to Team Altamura. But, after this small breakthrough by the home team, Team Altamura finds its balance again and returns to conceding very little, as in the first half, even if, on an offensive level, the team no longer performs as before and Melgrati is almost never called into question. In the final, Inter U23 tried with substitutions: Idrissou and Zuberek gave new life up front, but this was not enough to bring down the red and white defense which, even with its experience, slowed down the Nerazzurri's attempts. In injury time, the away team calls the "card" for a possible penalty kick, but, after the review, referee Aldi confirms the decision and the match ends 1-1.
A good performance for Stefano Vecchi's boys, capable of making up for a less than brilliant first half and drawing against a tough and experienced team like Team Altamura.
