Marco Palestra potrebbe arrivare alla barriera del capoluogo lombardo; Davide Frattesi, al contrario, si imbarcherebbe sulla strada opposta. O almeno questo è il desiderio dei dirigenti dell'Inter, che stanno studiando tutto per trovare la soluzione giusta per finalizzare l'acquisto dell'esterno classe 2005.
Palestra piace ma è caro
Il prezzo fissato dall'Atalanta per arrivare a Palestra è indiscutibilmente alto per le casse di qualsiasi squadra italiana: 40 milioni di euro per sedersi al tavolo delle trattative. Eletto miglior difensore della Serie A 2025/2026, l'ex giocatore del Cagliari ha regalato appena un gol e tre assist in trentasette presenze, senza però mai far mancare la sua incessante spinta su entrambe le fasce, dimostrando spesso un'eccessiva potenza fisica che ha stregato il club di Viale Liberazione.
Non è una novità, quindi, che l'Inter, da sempre attenta ai giovani talenti italiani, abbia puntato gli occhi sul giocatore e, dopo mesi di anticipazioni, l'arrivo dell'estate segna anche il momento in cui sferrare il colpo. La valutazione di 30 milioni di euro* è puramente indicativa: la Dea è consapevole di avere tra le mani un gioiello, dalle potenzialità elevate, motivo per cui il prezzo non potrà che salire, raggiungendo cifre difficilmente raggiungibili dai club italiani.

Sarri è un ammiratore di Frattesi
Per questo i nerazzurri avrebbero pensato di giocarsi il loro asso nella manica: Davide Frattesi. Nonostante una stagione poco brillante, nella quale ha disputato poco più di 550 minuti in campionato, il centrocampista resta uno dei beni più preziosi del calcio italiano. Gli anni del Sassuolo, gli sforzi decisivi nel biennio sotto la guida di Inzaghi, le incursioni con la maglia della Nazionale hanno fatto innamorare tanti estimatori della sua progressione e capacità di attaccare la porta. Tra questi, anche Maurizio Sarri, a un passo dalla panchina della Dea.
Dopo aver provato a portarlo alla Lazio a gennaio, il Comandante sarebbe felice di arricchire la linea di centrocampo nerazzurra - che perderà Ederson, direzione Manchester - con il classe 1999. Inoltre, il passaggio dal 3-4-2-1 al 4-3-3 richiederà un rafforzamento dei centrocampisti in rosa e di giocatori capaci di attaccare l'area avversaria.
Frattesi abbassa il prezzo di Palestra
A gennaio l'Inter aveva rifiutato l'offerta di acquisto di Lotito per 20 milioni di euro e un prestito con diritto di riscatto fissato a 30. Adesso, però, la situazione è cambiata. Non solo perché gli 0 centri stagionali, e in generale lo scarso utilizzo, hanno influito sulla valutazione di Frattesi, difficilmente pari ai 30 milioni richiesti, ma anche perché l'Inter intende utilizzarlo per arrivare a Palestra.
Una doppia operazione, in entrata e in uscita, volta ad abbassare l'esborso finanziario per il laterale originario di Buccinasco e, allo stesso tempo, a collocare un surplus che trovava poco spazio sotto la gestione di Chivu.
Una soluzione intelligente che potrebbe accontentare tutti: in primis l'Inter, che realizzerebbe il sogno accarezzato da tempo dell'esterno italiano; poi, anche Maurizio Sarri e l'Atalanta, che si ritroverebbero un centrocampista funzionale ai piani di gioco del tecnico; infine, gli stessi Frattesi e Palestra, con il primo arrivato in un'ottima posizione da cui ripartire, mentre il secondo approderebbe nella squadra Campioni d'Italia per prendere definitivamente il volo.
