Sogni, speranze e desideri: questa è tutta l’aura che accompagna l’inizio della stagione di Serie A dell’Inter, ma non dimentichiamoci di una cosa, forse la più importante di tutte, questo weekend inizia anche la stagione dell’Inter U23. E’ vero, non tutti i campioni della storia dell’Inter provengono dal settore giovanile, ma come sarebbe andata la scorsa stagione senza gli assist di Dimarco e le incornate di Pio Esposito? Ecco, probabilmente la stagione sarebbe andata molto diversamente, ed è proprio per questo che, stagioni come quella passata in Serie C e quella futura che ormai è alle porte, sono fondamentali per il futuro dell’Inter.
Ancora in Serie C, sì, ma con una variabile non da poco: il girone C. Quest’anno, infatti, la formazione nerazzurra è stata inserita nel girone C, conosciuto anche come “girone del Sud Italia”. Questo, più che rappresentare una problematica in termini di difficoltà, pur non trascurando la complessità del girone, comporta soprattutto trasferte ad almeno 800 km di distanza. Una variabile non da poco, che la squadra guidata ancora una volta da Stefano Vecchi dovrà tenere bene in considerazione.
Quali saranno le avversarie più temibili
Nel girone C spiccano tante piazze importanti, tutte con grandi ambizioni, ma quella che ai nastri di partenza ha tutti i favori del pronostico è sicuramente il Catania, proprio la squadra che l’Inter Under 23 dovrà affrontare domenica 23 agosto alla prima di campionato. Oltre ad essere una delle piazze più importanti del Sud Italia, ha fatto un mercato da assoluta protagonista. Le firme di Mihai, Perrotta e Masciangelo sono sicuramente un segnale di quali siano le ambizioni di questo Catania, oltre alla rinnovata guida tecnica, affidata a Emilio Longo, e al mantenimento dei senatori dello spogliatoio come Cicerelli e Jimenez.
Altre contendenti per la conquista del girone saranno sicuramente Salernitana e Bari. I granata, dopo l’altalenante stagione dell’anno scorso, hanno confermato come allenatore Serse Cosmi, subentrato alla 29ª giornata, e sognano una stagione sulla falsa riga del finale dell’anno scorso. Mentre, per quanto riguarda i biancorossi, la piazza di Bari non può accettare una lunga permanenza in Lega Pro, dopo una stagione deludente come quella dell’anno scorso, conclusa con la retrocessione ai playout con il Südtirol. La dirigenza, lo staff e i giocatori lo sanno, per questo ci si aspetta una stagione di alto livello per la squadra guidata da Massimo Rastelli.
A chiudere il girone ci sono tante altre squadre che vorranno dire la loro fino all’ultimo, come il Crotone di Leandro Greco, che sogna un ritorno nella serie cadetta che ormai manca da ben 5 stagioni. Altre squadre che sicuramente ci vorranno provare fino all’ultimo, quantomeno ad entrare nei playoff, sono senza dubbio Cosenza, Foggia e Audace Cerignola. Salvo sorprese a campionato in corso, dovrebbero essere queste le principali squadre che si contenderanno la promozione diretta in Serie B.
Chi saranno i protagonisti di stagione
In questo quadro generale, fatto di trasferte molto lunghe, di tifoserie calde e avversari di assoluto livello, su chi potrà contare lo staff di Stefano Vecchi? Beh, la maggior parte dei protagonisti di quest’anno saranno sicuramente molti dei giovani che, o durante la scorsa stagione o in questo precampionato, sono stati lanciati da Cristian Chivu.
In attacco spiccano i nomi di Lavelli, Mosconi e Iddrissou, mentre per quanto riguarda il centrocampo e la difesa gli indiziati principali sono Topalovic, Bovo, Marello e Bovio. Una squadra molto giovane, ovviamente, allestita per crescere, maturare e, soprattutto, fatta per abituarsi a giocare con i “grandi”. Proprio per questo, sarà fondamentale il ruolo delle quote over, come Fiordilino, Melgrati e Prestia, capitano anche per questa stagione, che dovranno fare da chioccia a questo gruppo molto giovane.
