Allegri charges his team but without pressure:

 I precedenti

Inter (3-5-2): Martinez Jo.; Bisseck, Akanji, Bastoni; Diouf, Barella, Calhanoglu, Zielinski, Dimarco; Lautaro Martinez, Pio Esposito.

Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rahmani, Marin, Spinazzola; Zambo Anguissa, Lobotka, De Bruyne; Politano, Hojlund, Santos.

The defeat against Como and the difficult victory in Genoa are signs that show how Max Allegri's team is still behind in terms of physical condition. After just 2 days, Napoli is already forced to chase those who, in this start of the championship, have not made any mistakes and have full points.

Tomorrow at 6.00 pm, however, the match against Christian Chivu's Inter arrives, which could already change the fate of the Neapolitans: winning would mean getting back into the running; losing, however, could cost you dearly. At San Siro, therefore, one of the matches that has been decisive in the championship fight in recent years is taking place and now it is up to Allegri to continue to lead Napoli to the top. The coach from Livorno, however, appeared rather serene, with the aim of wanting to enjoy the spectacle that a match like Inter - Napoli can offer: "I understand that here there is a bit of elation and depression but we are only at the third day. Balance must reign, we are at the beginning of the season. Against Como we lost without putting in a bad performance, then it depends on the point of view. The team must improve from a physical point of view and tomorrow will be a beautiful match, we must go with a lot of confidence and then we'll think about Arsenal."

Mctominay si opera: fuori almeno un mese

The problems for Scott Mctominay at the start of the season seem to never end. After struggling with some annoying blisters on his foot that prevented him from running naturally, the news arrives that no one would have expected: the Scotsman will have to undergo heart surgery due to a mild benign arrhythmia. Scott will, consequently, be out of action at least until the end of the national break, with the return date still to be established. Allegri loses an important player and will have to manage to return to winning ways without his best player: "For McTominay we took this decision together with the boy. After the break there will be ten important matches in 25 days so it is better to have stopped him now to have him back after the break which is the most important thing."

The news from the infirmary, however, does not end there. Yesterday, Giovane underwent surgery for an inguinal hernia and he too will not be present in Milan. Also added to the list of those unavailable for the match at San Siro are Luca Marianucci, struggling with a knee problem, and Alessandro Buongiorno, out of action since this summer due to a tear in the root of the medial meniscus of his right knee which required the need for surgery. A different story, however, for Badiashile who is recovering and is ready to be back in the squad for the away match, as confirmed by the Tuscan coach.

Inter - Napoli has always been one of the most fascinating matches in the panorama of Italian football. From the challenges between Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Diego Armando Maradona to those between Diego Milito and Edinson Cavani, up to the present day with Lautaro Martinez and Scott Mctominay, the great absentee of the match, who represent the most decisive players in Serie A. Cristian Chivu's team arrives as favourites, but this match has always provided surprises and emotions. Napoli, on the other hand, is unbeaten in the last 5 clashes with the Nerazzurri and wants to continue to maintain this trend. The story, however, tells another story. The precedents are clearly in favor of Inter. In 180 matches played, the Neapolitans have only won 53, drawn 46 and lost 81. Data and statistics that can try to anticipate the outcome of tomorrow evening's match, but not for Max Allegri: "They are all statistical things, you have to know how to read the years. Direct clashes must always be played while there are other matches that must be won. Tomorrow's match is a match that must be played."
