However, City responded promptly in the second half, with Doku equalising and Haaland hitting the post with a free-kick. Bernardo Silva made it 2-1 in the 76th minute and Haaland closed the score with a left-footed shot. City maintained their perfect record, leaving West Ham ten points behind in the league.
Liverpool pulled off an extraordinary comeback against Wolverhampton, winning 3-1. Pedro Neto’s early goal put the Wolves ahead, but Liverpool equalised in the 55th minute when Salah’s shot turned into an assist for Gakpo. Robertson’s goal in the 85th minute and Bueno’s goal in the first half secured the victory for Liverpool, who now have 13 points. Wolverhampton remain in the relegation zone with only three points.
United, again ko in Premier League
Brighton stunned Manchester United with a 3-1 victory. Welbeck put Brighton ahead in the 20th minute and, despite United’s efforts to equalise, they failed to find the net in the first half. Brighton doubled the lead with a splendid strike from Groß in the 53rd minute and Joao Pedro added the third in the 71st minute. Mejbri put United back ahead, but Brighton held on to win 3-1, moving up to fourth place with 12 points, while United remained on six points.
Tottenham faced Sheffield United in a hard-fought game. Hamer put Sheffield United ahead in the 73rd minute, but Tottenham equalised in extra time with goals from Richarlison and Kulusevski, securing the 2-1 victory. Tottenham now have 13 points, while Sheffield United only have one.
Aston Villa pulled off an extraordinary comeback against Crystal Palace, winning 3-1. Edouard put Palace ahead, but Duran equalised in the 87th minute. Douglas Luiz converted a penalty in the 98th minute, followed by Bailey’s goal three minutes later. Villa now has nine points, while Palace has seven.
In the last match of the day, Fulham defeated Luton 1-0, leaving them with zero points. Carlos Vinicius scored the winning goal for Fulham in the 65th minute, sealing the victory and taking them to 7 points in the league.
