Nico Paz: nuova stretta di mano tra Como e Real Madrid. L'argentino vestirà la maglia dei lariani anche nella prossima stagione. La squadra di Mirwan Suwarso ha spinto sull'acceleratore e ha trovato un accordo per ricomprare il talento argentino dai Blancos al prezzo di 60 milioni di euro. Le merengues comunque si sono assicurate una nuova clausola di recompra sul calciatore argentino.

Per Nico Paz il Real Madrid aveva attivato la clausola di recompra presente nel suo contratto, concedendo al Como una finestra di prelazione fino a fine mese per ricomprarlo a 60 milioni, valutandolo 70 per il resto dei club interessati. Tra questi club c'era l'Inter, ma i nerazzurri non avranno tempo di agire: il Como paga 60 milioni, mentre il Real Madrid alza la cifra della recompra a 80 milioni di euro. Nico Paz giocherà la Champions League in riva al lago. Il club italiano poi lascerà ai Blancos una percentuale sulla futura rivendita, soluzione che ha permesso di avvicinare le richieste spagnole senza caricare l'operazione solo sulla parte fissa.
Inter “beffata”
Dopo l’incontro Real Madrid-Como per il giocatore, i nerazzurri hanno provato a inserirsi nella trattativa. La dirigenza si era messa subito al lavoro con il club spagnolo, che chiedeva 70 milioni di euro alle altre società (il Como ha un diritto di prelazione a 60 che ha sfruttato a suo vantaggio). L’Inter, quindi, attendeva e in caso di mancato affondo della squadra di Fabregas avrebbe provato a trattare con i Blancos per il cartellino. Oaktree aveva individuato in Nico Paz l’investimento giusto da fare, anche con uno sforzo extra visto il gradimento nei confronti del ragazzo e gli ottimi rapporti tra Javier Zanetti e la famiglia del giocatore.
Cristian Chivu valutava invece la situazione dal punto di vista tecnico: certamente Paz resta un innesto molto importante per quanto concerne l'imprevedibilità ma c'era il dubbio legato alla questione della collocazione tattica. Forse questo poteva essere il problema più grande visto che l'investimento per un talento come il classe 2004 comportava un impiego rapido e a 360 gradi.

Oaktree had identified Nico Paz as the right investment to make, even with an extra effort given the appreciation towards the boy and the excellent relationships between Javier Zanetti and the player's family.
Cristian Chivu instead evaluated the situation from a technical point of view: Paz certainly remains a very important addition in terms of unpredictability but there was doubt linked to the question of tactical positioning. Perhaps this could have been the biggest problem given that the investment for a talent like the class of 2004 entailed rapid and all-round employment.
