Stefan de Vrij e l’Inter sembrano avviati verso la separazione. Nonostante la proposta di rinnovo avanzata dalla dirigenza nerazzurra per prolungare di un’altra stagione il contratto in scadenza il 30 giugno, il difensore olandese non ha ancora dato il via libera e, secondo le ultime indiscrezioni, sarebbe orientato a intraprendere una nuova avventura che gli garantisca un ruolo centrale nel progetto tecnico.
Il punto chiave della riflessione di De Vrij non sarebbe esclusivamente economico. A 34 anni, l’ex Lazio vuole continuare a giocare con continuità e sentirsi ancora protagonista. Sul tavolo ci sarebbero quattro offerte concrete: tre provenienti da club europei pronti ad affidargli una maglia da titolare e una dall’Arabia Saudita, soluzione economicamente molto vantaggiosa ma che al momento non rappresenterebbe necessariamente la priorità del giocatore.

L’Inter, dal canto suo, avrebbe voluto trattenere il centrale olandese per un’altra stagione, considerandolo una risorsa importante per esperienza e leadership all’interno dello spogliatoio. Se l’addio dovesse concretizzarsi, la società di Viale della Liberazione sarebbe costretta ad accelerare ulteriormente sul mercato per rinforzare il reparto arretrato.
Se De Vrij saluta l’Inter deve trovare un’alternativa
Il primo nome sulla lista resta Solet dell’Udinese. I contatti tra i due club sono continui e la trattativa sembrerebbe molto avanzata. Il difensore francese ha già dato il suo ok e sottolineato il proprio gradimento per il trasferimento a Milano, mentre resta da trovare l’intesa definitiva con l’Udinese sulla formula e sulle cifre dell’operazione. La valutazione oscilla tra i 20 e i 25 milioni di euro e la sensazione è che la chiusura possa arrivare a breve.
Solet non basta
Solet da solo però non basterebbe. Con l’uscita di De Vrij, l’Inter avrebbe bisogno di almeno un altro innesto per completare la rotazione difensiva e garantire a Cristian Chivu una retroguardia all’altezza dei tanti impegni stagionali. La strategia nerazzurra è chiara: ringiovanire il reparto senza perdere competitività, l’idea è quella di creare una rosa che mixi profili più giovani accanto ai leader già presenti in rosa.
Le prossime ore potrebbero quindi risultare decisive. Da una parte si attende la scelta definitiva di De Vrij sul proprio futuro, dall’altra l’Inter deve correre ai ripari e trovare un nuovo profilo difensivo poco costoso ma all’altezza.
Il matrimonio, iniziato nel 2018 con l’olandese e ricco di successi, sembra essere arrivato ai titoli di coda. E i nerazzurri si stanno già preparando a voltare pagina.

The key point of De Vrij's reflection would not be exclusively economic. At 34 years old, the former Lazio player wants to continue playing continuously and still feel like a protagonist. There would be four concrete offers on the table: three from European clubs ready to give him a starting shirt and one from Saudi Arabia, a very economically advantageous solution but which at the moment would not necessarily represent the player's priority.

The next few hours could therefore prove decisive. On the one hand, De Vrij's final choice on his future is awaited, on the other, Inter must take action and find a new, inexpensive but capable defensive profile.
