L'Inter si prepara a una possibile rivoluzione in difesa e tra i nomi che stanno emergendo per il futuro c'è quello di Leo Ostigard. Il centrale norvegese del Genoa viene indicato come uno dei profili seguiti dal club nerazzurro nel caso in cui Stefan De Vrij dovesse salutare Milano al termine della sua avventura interista.
L'addio dell'olandese è infatti uno scenario sempre più concreto. Su De Vrij ci sono diverse offerte e quella del Panathinaikos appare particolarmente interessante. Il club greco avrebbe messo sul tavolo un contratto biennale da 3 milioni di euro a stagione, proposta che starebbe facendo riflettere il difensore. Per questo motivo la dirigenza interista si sta muovendo per non farsi trovare impreparata, valutando diversi profili in grado di garantire affidabilità, esperienza in Serie A e margini di crescita.
Un profilo che piace
Ostigard risponde a molte delle caratteristiche ricercate dall'Inter. Classe 1999, fisico imponente, aggressivo nei duelli e già abituato a giocare nel campionato italiano, il difensore norvegese ha ritrovato continuità con la maglia del Genoa dopo le esperienze vissute tra Napoli e il calcio estero.
Le sue prestazioni hanno attirato l'attenzione di diversi club e anche il mondiale in corso in America sta contribuendo ad accendere ulteriormente i riflettori sul suo profilo.

La società ligure dovrà certamente valutare alcune cessioni per sistemare i conti e finanziare il mercato, ma il norvegese non è considerato uno degli elementi sacrificabili a cuor leggero.
Per questo motivo, qualora l'Inter decidesse di affondare il colpo, servirà probabilmente un'offerta importante per convincere il Genoa a sedersi al tavolo delle trattative.
Una nuova era in difesa?
Al momento quella che porta a Ostigard resta una pista, ma tutt'altro che da sottovalutare. Il norvegese rappresenta un profilo diverso da De Vrij: più fisico e aggressivo nell'uno contro uno, meno regista difensivo, ma con caratteristiche che potrebbero adattarsi bene alle esigenze dell'Inter del futuro.

Professionista esemplare dentro e fuori dal campo, ha rappresentato per anni una certezza nella difesa interista. Per questo, mentre il nome di Ostigard prende quota come possibile erede, una parte del popolo nerazzurro non può che guardare con affetto e riconoscenza a tutto ciò che Stefan De Vrij ha dato all'Inter.
