Nelle ultime ore, il nome di Evan Ndicka è tornato alla ribalta tra i possibili obiettivi dell'Inter per rinforzare la difesa in vista della prossima stagione. Lo scenario nasce da due fattori: la sempre più probabile partenza di Stefan De Vrij e la necessità della Roma di generare importanti plusvalenze entro la scadenza fissata dal Fair Play Finanziario. Una ricostruzione che ha una sua logica ma che, approfondendo la situazione, appare molto meno concreta di quanto possa sembrare.
Un profilo che piace ma oggi appare fuori portata
Che Ndicka sia un giocatore gradito ai nerazzurri non rappresenta una novità. Il centrale ivoriano possiede infatti caratteristiche che si sposerebbero perfettamente con il sistema difensivo del Biscione: esperienza internazionale, conoscenza della Serie A, struttura fisica importante e la capacità, sempre più ricercata nel calcio moderno, di impostare con il piede mancino. Non sorprende quindi che il suo nome sia tornato periodicamente accostato all'Inter negli ultimi mesi.
Il problema, però, è che tra apprezzamento e fattibilità esiste una distanza considerevole. La Roma valuta infatti il difensore attorno ai 40 milioni di euro, una cifra che mal si concilia con la strategia interista, che vede già altri importanti investimenti all'orizzonte. Il tecnico considera il classe '99 uno dei punti fermi attorno ai quali costruire la nuova Roma e avrebbe chiesto alla dirigenza di resistere alle offerte, a meno che non arrivino proposte considerate davvero irrinunciabili.
È proprio questo l'aspetto che ridimensiona maggiormente le voci sull'Inter. La necessità di generare plusvalenze esiste ma non significa automaticamente che tutti i big siano sul mercato. Anzi, la strategia capitolina sembra orientata a trovare soluzioni alternative pur di preservare alcuni elementi chiave della rosa. E l'ex Eintracht Francoforte rientra pienamente in questa categoria.
Perciò, salvo sviluppi inattesi nelle prossime settimane, la pista che porta il difensore a Milano appare destinata a rimanere sullo sfondo. Un nome quindi che sembra più utile ad alimentare il dibattito di mercato che a trasformarsi in una reale opportunità per la Beneamata.
