La trattativa tra l'Inter e l'Union Saint-Gilloise per il trasferimento in nerazzurro di Anan Khalaili è arrivata a una svolta decisiva. Proprio nel momento in cui i due club erano vicini a trovare una base d'accordo su una cifra di 25 milioni per l'arrivo del giocatore a Milano, è spuntata la notizia di un repentino inserimento del Como in grado di rimescolare le carte. Voce immediatamente smentita, ma che non nasconde la volontà di provare a far lievitare il prezzo dell'esterno israeliano nonché di vendicarsi per l'inserimento dei nerazzurri per Chalobah e trarre un vantaggio nella trattativa per l'inglese.
Una vera e propria azione di disturbo che però non modifica la posizione dell'Inter, che ha scelto l'esterno israeliano come profilo ideale a cui affidare la fascia destra rimasta vacante a seguito dell'addio di Dumfries e del mancato arrivo di Palestra.
Anan Khalaili: il profilo ideale per i nerazzurri
Il calciatore classe 2004 nasce principalmente come ala destra, ruolo nel quale riesce a sfruttare velocità, dribbling e capacità di puntare l’uomo. Con il passare del tempo, però, grazie alla sua duttilità tattica, è stato utilizzato anche come esterno destro di centrocampo e persino come punta centrale. Le sue caratteristiche offensive rappresentano il principale punto di forza. È un calciatore rapido e agile, molto efficace negli spazi stretti e nel confronto diretto. In questa stagione ha totalizzato in tutte le competizioni 46 presenze, realizzando 6 reti e 5 assist. I media belgi hanno spesso esaltato le sue doti atletiche: la velocità è l'arma principale di Khalaili, che ha fatto registrare picchi pari a 33,37 km/h nelle qualificazioni europee con Israele e 33,5 km/h in Champions League. Da Viale della Liberazione era arrivata una prima offerta ufficiale al club belga. Nel dettaglio l'offerta dei nerazzurri era stata di poco più di 20 milioni di euro. Ma l'Union cercava un pacchetto vicino a 30 milioni. La trattativa è dunque continuata negli scorsi giorni, sino all'offerta da 25 milioni che sembrava aver trovato la quadra fra le parti a metà strada fra le rispettive posizioni di partenza. L'inserimento pretestuoso del Como, apparentemente disposto a superare la proposta della Beneamata di 2 milioni di euro, nasconde la volontà dei belgi di giocare sul prezzo, cercando di guadagnare il più possibile.
