Dalle ultime ore diversi organi di stampa rilanciano una voce che, inevitabilmente, accende la fantasia dei tifosi nerazzurri: l’Inter avrebbe manifestato interesse per Eduardo Camavinga, centrocampista del Real Madrid, durante l’incontro avvenuto tra il presidente Giuseppe Marotta e Florentino Perez in occasione della partita tra le leggende dei due club andata in scena al Santiago Bernabéu.
Un nome che fa rumore ma tante sono le domande
Il nome è di quelli che fanno rumore. Camavinga rappresenta infatti uno dei profili più prestigiosi del calcio europeo: giovane, fisicamente dominante, dotato di una straordinaria capacità di recuperare palloni e di una versatilità che gli ha consentito, nel corso della sua esperienza madrilena, di ricoprire più ruoli all’interno dello scacchiere tattico.

Eppure, al di là del fascino mediatico dell’operazione, una domanda sorge spontanea: dove giocherebbe oggi Camavinga nell’Inter di Cristian Chivu?
La scorsa stagione il centrocampista angolano naturalizzato francese ha vissuto un’annata caratterizzata da uno scarso utilizzo con la camiseta blanca, chiudendo con uno score di appena un gol e un assist. Numeri lontani da quelli prodotti dal cuore pulsante del centrocampo nerazzurro.
Basta guardare i dati per comprendere il quadro. Barella, Çalhanoğlu e Zielinski hanno contribuito complessivamente con 21 gol e 19 assist, risultando decisivi non soltanto nella costruzione del gioco ma anche nella fase realizzativa. Una produzione offensiva che rappresenta una delle principali armi dell’Inter e che difficilmente potrebbe essere sacrificata.
A chi toglierebbe il posto?
A questo punto il quesito diventa inevitabile: a chi toglierebbe il posto Camavinga?
A Barella, leader tecnico ed emotivo della squadra? A Çalhanoğlu, regista e riferimento assoluto davanti alla difesa? Oppure a Zielinski, che ha saputo garantire qualità, inserimenti e continuità?
La sensazione è che il problema non sia tanto il valore del giocatore, che resta indiscutibile, quanto la sua collocazione all’interno di un reparto che oggi appare già completo e competitivo.
C’è poi un altro aspetto da considerare. Con il ritorno a Milano di Aleksandar Stankovic, l’Inter dispone già di una soluzione credibile e affidabile per ampliare le rotazioni in mezzo al campo. Perché se il talento di Camavinga non si discute, anche il prezzo dell’operazione merita una riflessione. Le cifre che circolano parlano infatti di una valutazione vicina ai 60 milioni di euro, un esborso che appare difficilmente conciliabile con le attuali strategie economiche del club nerazzurro.

Ad oggi, però, tra Madrid e Milano esiste una sola operazione concreta e certificata: quella che ha portato Denzel Dumfries nella capitale spagnola. Tutto il resto, almeno per ora, resta nel territorio delle indiscrezioni e delle suggestioni estive.

Yet, beyond the media fascination of the operation, a question arises spontaneously: where would Camavinga play today in Cristian Chivu's Inter?
Last season the French-born Angolan midfielder experienced a year characterized by little use with the Camiseta Blanca, finishing with a score of just one goal and one assist. Numbers far from those produced by the beating heart of the Nerazzurri midfield.
Just look at the data to understand the picture. To date, however, between Madrid and Milan there is only one concrete and certified operation: the one that brought Denzel Dumfries to the Spanish capital. Everything else, at least for now, remains in the territory of summer rumors and suggestions.
