Dopo aver scelto Tony D’Amico come nuovo direttore sportivo, in casa Roma si sta progettando la prossima stagione: giallorossi impegnati nuovamente in Champions League e dunque i Friedkin hanno intenzione di creare una formazione competitiva, per reggere l’urto della massima competizione Europea. Oltre ai nuovi arrivi, la dirigenza vorrebbe conservare l’ossatura vincente del 2025/2026, cercando di blindare diversi pilastri. Tra le priorità (alcune in scadenza contrattuale), focus rivolto su quattro giocatori, ovvero Mancini, Dybala, Çelik e Pellegrini.
Passi in avanti per il rinnovo di Mancini
Punto fermo della difesa, Gianluca Mancini ha avuto grossi meriti nel terzo posto dei capitolini in campionato. Mister Gasperini preferirebbe continuare con l’ex Atalanta, capace di unire fisicità e inserimenti offensivi (soprattutto nei calci piazzati), tanto che stanno proseguendo i colloqui con gli agenti del giocatore per prolungare un contratto in scadenza nel 2027: la Roma sembrerebbe aver fatto lo scatto decisivo, attraverso un biennale fino al 2029 e ingaggio da circa 3,5 milioni di euro annui.
Il bottino stagionale del classe ‘96 è stato importante, grazie ai 5 gol e 2 assist in 45 presenze. Negli occhi dei tifosi, ancora vivo il ricordo della sua doppietta nel derby vinto 2-0 contro la Lazio lo scorso 17 maggio.
Enigma Dybala
Da capire il futuro di Paulo Dybala, considerando una deadline contrattuale fissata al 30 giugno 2026 e un rinnovo non ancora definito. Situazione piuttosto altalenante durante questi mesi, in quanto si è passati da un addio quasi certo ad una clamorosa permanenza dopo la qualificazione Champions. Attualmente, la fumata bianca non è arrivata e l’argentino ha preso tempo: forte il richiamo della patria, con il Boca Juniors guidato dal suo connazionale Paredes che non ha mai nascosto il desiderio di vedere la Joya in maglia gialloblù.
Gli infortuni hanno perseguitato il 32enne durante quest’annata, permettendogli di disputare solamente 27 gare ed esultare 3 volte (unica soddisfazione, il numero dei passaggi vincenti forniti, ben 8).
Il punto su Çelik e Pellegrini
Buone notizie per Zeki Çelik pronto a firmare il rinnovo con i giallorossi. L’ex Lille era in scadenza a fine mese e diverse società lo stavano seguendo, ma la proprietà Friedkin ha pareggiato la distanza tra domanda e offerta ( circa 600 mila euro di differenza), convincendo l’entourage. Nel frattempo, il terzino è impegnato con la Turchia ai Mondiali: debutto amaro per la Nazionale allenata da Montella sconfitta 2-0 dall’Australia.
Sembrava destinato ai saluti, però l’arrivo di D'Amico ha cambiato tutto. Iniziati i colloqui con Lorenzo Pellegrini (in scadenza a giugno) per proseguire la sua avventura nella Capitale. Se la trattativa andasse a buon fine, il centrocampista romano festeggerebbe la prossima estate un decennio da titolare con la maglia del cuore: nel lontano 2017, la Roma esercitò il diritto di contro-riscatto prelevandolo dal Sassuolo.

Currently, the white smoke has not arrived and the Argentine has taken his time: the call of his homeland is strong, with Boca Juniors led by his compatriot Paredes who has never hidden his desire to see Joya in the yellow-blue shirt.
Injuries have haunted the 32-year-old during this season, allowing him to play only 27 matches and celebrate 3 times (the only satisfaction was the number of winning passes provided, 8).
Il punto su Çelik e Pellegrini
Good news for Zeki Çelik ready to sign a renewal with the Giallorossi. The former Lille player was out of contract at the end of the month and several companies were following him, but the Friedkin owners equalized the distance between supply and demand (around 600 thousand euros difference), convincing the entourage. In the meantime, the full-back is busy with Turkey at the World Cup: a bitter debut for the national team coached by Montella, defeated 2-0 by Australia.
It seemed destined to say goodbye, but D'Amico's arrival changed everything. Talks have begun with Lorenzo Pellegrini (expiring in June) to continue his adventure in the capital.
