Napoli is enjoying their return to the Champions League, but Antonio Conte's future seems to be increasingly distant from the Azzurri. The coach's statements after the victory against Pisa left very clear feelings: something has cracked and the hypothesis of a farewell at the end of the season no longer seems so far away. Conte, without openly going out on a limb, admitted that he had already communicated his intentions to Aurelio De Laurentiis, postponing any final decision until the end of the championship.
Conte has released yet another nebulous statement which has inevitably rekindled doubts about the future of the Italian bench. Because if on the one hand Napoli achieved the minimum objective of the season, on the other the relationship between club and coach never seemed truly peaceful throughout the year.

The Salento coach however reiterated his bond with the square, recalling how special it is to win in Naples. At the same time, however, he spoke as someone who wants to understand whether the right conditions still exist to continue together.

At the basis of Conte's reflections there would above all be issues related to the technical project. The coach would like important guarantees on the market and on the competitiveness of the team, while the club seems intent on maintaining a more sustainable line from an economic point of view.

In fact, Conte's name continues to be linked to Italy and the blue reference could have an important weight in his future evaluations. In the meantime, De Laurentiis is already monitoring some alternatives in case the separation becomes inevitable.
