Matteo Cocchi
Nato a Imola nel 2007, Cocchi è un figlio d'arte: sia il nonno che il padre hanno avuto trascorsi nel calcio, e il terzino sinistro classe 2007 sembra aver ereditato quella genetica calcistica nel modo più naturale possibile. Arrivato all'Inter nel 2021 dal Bologna, ha completato una maturazione rapidissima, diventando un titolare inamovibile in Serie C con la formazione di Vecchi e guadagnandosi la stima dello staff tecnico della prima squadra. In stagione ha collezionato 26 presenze in Under 23, una rete e due assist, oltre a un debutto in Champions League nella stagione 2024-2025 e l'esordio in Serie A, voluto fortemente da Cristian Chivu nell'ultima giornata contro il Bologna. Mancino puro, dotato di un piede molto educato e di un'ottima tecnica di base, i suoi modelli di riferimento quotidiani alla Pinetina sono Federico Dimarco e Carlos Augusto.
Mattia Marello
Il "nuovo Dimash" secondo i più entusiasti, il laterale sinistro classe 2008 è approdato all'Inter nell'estate del 2025 con la formula del prestito con diritto di riscatto dall'Udinese. Ha subito convinto: premiato come miglior difensore del campionato Primavera 1 2025-26 ed inserito nella Top 11 stagionale della categoria, è stato ufficialmente riscattato lo scorso 17 giugno. Per lui si prospetta un graduale inserimento nell'Under 23, con l'obiettivo di avvicinarlo progressivamente al calcio professionistico.
Jamal Iddrissou
Ghanese di origini e bresciano di nascita, l'attaccante classe 2007 è considerato dagli esperti uno dei talenti più cristallini del panorama giovanile italiano. Il suo percorso nell'Inter, iniziato nel 2017 partendo dai Pulcini, è una scalata costante che lo ha visto bruciare le tappe in ogni categoria del settore giovanile. In questa stagione ha inanellato numeri importanti: 20 presenze in Primavera condite da 12 gol, di cui 6 realizzati in UEFA Youth League, con il momento più alto rappresentato da una tripletta contro il Real Betis agli ottavi che ha indirizzato la rimonta nerazzurra sul 5-3. Legato all'Inter fino al 2030, con la maglia azzurra ha già siglato 5 reti tra Under 18, 19 e 20. A chi gli chiede un modello, risponde con il nome di Marcus Thuram, che ha la fortuna di ammirare da vicino ogni giorno.
Mattia Mosconi
Con una leggenda che parla di oltre 800 gol segnati nelle giovanili, Mosconi non è più solo una promessa del vivaio, ma una realtà che bussa con forza alle porte del calcio dei grandi. Ha già vinto con la maglia dell'Italia: all'Europeo Under 17 del 2024 era in campo da capitano nella finale contro il Portogallo, chiusa 3-0. Nella stagione appena conclusa si è diviso tra Under 23 e prima squadra, collezionando due presenze in Serie A - tra cui il debutto assoluto all'80' della vittoria per 3-0 contro la Lazio allo Stadio Olimpico, con due accelerazioni sulla fascia e un sinistro potente che ha subito fatto capire di non essere entrato soltanto per fare esperienza. Mancino naturale dal baricentro basso, fisicamente ricorda un "torello" alla Lautaro Martinez - che non a caso è il suo idolo dichiarato.
Il cammino degli azzurrini
L'Italia, inserita nel Gruppo B, esordirà il 29 giugno contro la Serbia, prima di affrontare Croazia e Ucraina rispettivamente il 2 e il 5 luglio. Le prime due classificate di ciascun girone accederanno alle semifinali. In palio, oltre al titolo europeo, c'è il pass per il Mondiale Under 20 del 2027 ospitato tra Azerbaigian e Uzbekistan.
