Le dichiarazioni del pilota e del team principal della Ferrari dopo il Gran Premio di Barcellona
Charles Leclerc sta vivendo il periodo probabilmente più difficile da quando è arrivato alla Ferrari. Il monegasco sembra aver perso il feeling con la macchina e i due ritiri consecutivi hanno certificato la profonda crisi.
Dopo la gara di Barcellona, che ha visto trionfare il suo compagno di squadra, Leclerc ha analizzato così il momento: "Per rialzarsi bisogna solo avere risultati buoni, tecnicamente è stato difficile gestire certe cose ultimamente ma io non sono stato a livello. Lewis è sempre stato un passo avanti dal Canada, sono contento per lui, se lo merita tantissimo". Ai microfoni di Sky Sport, il pilota della Rossa ha aggiunto: "Invidia? Non c'è, sono contento per la Ferrari e Hamilton. Ma da parte mia devo essere onesto, sono deluso e questo è il feeling con cui rientrerò a casa. Bisogna resettare e ripartire dall'Austria".
Della Ferrari "a due facce" ha parlato anche Fred Vasseur: "È una giornata fantastica per Hamilton e per tutto il team. Dobbiamo tenere a mente che stiamo spingendo molto e questo è il modo giusto per ripagare la squadra. È molto bello fare due podi consecutivi in Europa, ieri abbiamo anche lottato per la pole".
Il team principal della Ferrari ha aggiunto: "Lotta per il Mondiale? Due settimane fa non eravamo da nessuna parte e oggi non siamo campioni del mondo. Dobbiamo mantenere lo stesso approccio e tenere la massima concentrazione. Le prestazioni saranno determinate dalla capacità di sviluppare la macchina nel corso della stagione".
Sul secondo ritiro consecutivo di Leclerc, il francese ha dichiarato: "Oggi non è stata colpa sua, è stato un problema di affidabilità. La cosa positiva è che aveva un ottimo passo. Aveva fiducia e si deve ripartire da questo".

Charles Leclerc is experiencing probably the most difficult period since he arrived at Ferrari. The Monegasque seems to have lost the feeling with the car and the two consecutive retirements have confirmed the profound crisis.
After the race in Barcelona, which saw his teammate triumph, Leclerc analyzed the moment like this: "To get back up you just have to have good results, technically it has been difficult to manage certain things lately but I haven't been at my level. Lewis has always been one step ahead of Canada, I'm happy for him, he deserves it very much." Speaking to Sky Sport, the Ferrari driver added: "Envy? There's no, I'm happy for Ferrari and Hamilton. But for my part I have to be honest, I'm disappointed and this is the feeling with which I will return home. We need to reset and start again from Austria".
Fred Vasseur also spoke about the "two-faced" Ferrari: "It's a fantastic day for Hamilton and for the whole team. We have to keep in mind that we are pushing a lot and this is the right way to repay the team. It's very nice to get two consecutive podiums in Europe, yesterday we also fought for pole."
The Ferrari team principal added: “Fighting for the World Championship? Two weeks ago we were nowhere and today we are not world champions. We have to maintain the same approach and keep maximum concentration. Performance will be determined by the ability to develop the car over the course of the season.”
On Leclerc's second consecutive retirement, the Frenchman said: "Today it wasn't his fault, it was a reliability problem. The positive thing is that he had an excellent pace. He had confidence and we have to start from this."
