Come si usa dire, gli esami non finiscono mai e per Kimi forse iniziano solo adesso. Intendiamoci subito: non si tratta di mettere sotto processo il leader del Mondiale per un weekend leggermente sotto il suo trend recente ma soprattutto dall'esito sfortunato. L'esame al quale facciamo riferimento è quello... di italiano o più precisamente di tifo italiano. La classifica disegnata dalla settima tappa del Mondiale lancia una sfida intergenerazionale potenzialmente formidabile ma soprattutto un duello tra un pilota italiano al volante di una macchina tedesca e un pilota inglese (il più titolato di sempre a pari merito con Michael Schumacher) al volante della Ferrari. Ve lo immaginate un Gran Premio d'Italia a Monza tra poco meno di tre mesi con Kimi e Lewis a diretto confronto nella corsa al titolo? C'è da fregarsi le mani, lustrarsi gli occhi, fare carte false per procurarsi un biglietto con vista su un confronto epocale, in tutti i sensi. La curiosità è tutta lì: c'è spazio per accomodare i fan di Kimi e quelli della Rossa? Sì perché un fattore balza subito al centro dell'attenzione: la zona grigia non esiste. È tutto bianco oppure nero, anzi è tutto rosso oppure nero. Storicamente non ci sono vie di mezzo praticabili. Viene da pensare che il tifo più giovane prenda le parti di AKA e che quello più "maturo" sbavi alla sola ipotesi di un pilota dela Scuderia (uno qualsiasi va bene, se poi è sette volte campione del mondo tanto meglio) campione del diciannove anni dopo l'ultima volta. È solo un'ipotesi e in fondo è solo una vittoria (quella di domenica 14 giugno a Barcellona) dopo sei successi di fila "scoccati" dalle Frecce d'Argento. Il trend intanto è positivo (prima di Barcellona Hamilton aveva fatto secondo a Montreal e a Montecarlo. Resta da prendere in esame (affidandola subito all'uno-due di inizio estate di Spielberg e Silverstone) la doppia variabile Leclerc -Russell. Di carne al fuoco insomma Barcellona ne ha messa tanta, intanto godiamoci uno scenario inimmaginabile solo lo scorso inverno e da sogno tornando alla visione "monzese" di cui sopra!

As they say, the exams never end and for Kimi perhaps they are only starting now. The exam we are referring to is that... of Italian or more precisely of Italian typhus. The ranking drawn up by the seventh stage of the World Championship launches a potentially formidable intergenerational challenge but above all a duel between an Italian driver at the wheel of a German car and an English driver (the most successful ever tied with Michael Schumacher) at the wheel of Ferrari. Can you imagine an Italian Grand Prix in Monza in just under three months with Kimi and Lewis in direct confrontation in the title race? You have to rub your hands, shine your eyes, do false papers to get a ticket with a view on an epochal confrontation, in every sense. The curiosity is all there: is there space to accommodate Kimi's fans and those of the Red? Yes, because one factor immediately comes to the center of attention: the gray area does not exist. It's all black or white, or rather it's all red or black. Historically there is no viable middle ground. One might think that the younger fans take AKA's side and that the more "mature" fans drool at the mere hypothesis of a Scuderia driver (any one is fine, if he is a seven-time world champion all the better) champion nineteen years after the last time. It's just a hypothesis and in the end it's just one victory (the one on Sunday 14 June in Barcelona) after six successes in a row "scored" by the Silver Arrows. In the meantime, the trend is positive (before Barcelona, Hamilton had finished second in Montreal and Monte Carlo. The double variable Leclerc -Russell remains to be examined (immediately entrusting it to the one-two punch of Spielberg and Silverstone at the beginning of the summer). In short, Barcelona has put a lot of irons in the fire, in the meantime let's enjoy a scenario that was unimaginable only last winter and is dreamlike, returning to the "Monza" vision mentioned above!
