Pur guardando tutti dall’alto, il capitano argentino è consapevole di non potersi rilassare troppo, poiché si è inserito un temibile pretendente, ovvero Kylian Mbappé. Il numero 10 francese partita dopo partita sta recuperando terreno, tanto da avvicinarsi in questa prestigiosa classifica al talento di Rosario: 16 centri (gli stessi di Klose), dunque ne basterebbero solo 2 per raggiungere la vetta.

L’uomo copertina di queste vittorie è stato Mbappé, autore di due doppiette e trascinatore dell’attacco francese. Proprio nella recente sfida contro la Nazionale asiatica terminata 3-0, il centravanti del Real Madrid ha confermato la sua precisione da fuori area fulminando il portiere Basil. Molto più facile il secondo gol, nato da un clamoroso errore della retroguardia irachena, in cui il classe ‘98 ha facilmente raccolto il passaggio di Dembelé.
Messi-Mbappé che sfida
Testa a testa veramente emozionante tra due fuoriclasse del calcio per aggiudicarsi lo scettro di goleador Mondiale. La sensazione è che però il sorpasso di Mbappé possa avvenire se non in questa edizione, quantomeno nella prossima. Tesi sostenuta dal fattore anagrafico, punto di forza dell’ex Monaco. Kylian, 28 anni da compiere a dicembre calcherà questi palcoscenici forse altre due volte (2030 e 2034) e quindi le chances di finire sul tabellino marcatori non dovrebbero mancare se mantenesse questo ritmo realizzativo.
Per la Pulce, si tratta dell'ultimo ballo in questa Coppa giocata 6 volte e alzata nel 2022. Guarda caso, entrambi c’erano e segnarono una doppietta per parte, durante quella celebre finale di quattro anni fa vinta dall’Argentina 4-2 ai rigori. Come precocità, la punta transalpina ha già battuto il rivale, salendo sul tetto del mondo da neo maggiorenne nel 2018, rispetto alle 35 candeline di Leo quando alzò il magico trofeo dorato nella scorsa edizione.
