Una frase che oggi sembra descrivere perfettamente il possibile ritorno di Franck Kessié all'Atalanta. Sette anni dopo il suo addio, il centrocampista ivoriano potrebbe infatti tornare a vestire la maglia nerazzurra, quella che gli ha permesso di esplodere definitivamente nel calcio italiano e di diventare uno dei migliori centrocampisti della Serie A. La storia tra Kessié e l'Atalanta inizia nel gennaio del 2015, quando il club bergamasco lo acquista dagli ivoriani dello Stella Club d'Adjamé. Pochi mesi dopo, nell'agosto dello stesso anno, viene ceduto in prestito al Cesena per permettergli di accumulare esperienza nel calcio italiano.
