La seconda stagione dell'Inter U23 parte da un cambio di location. Dopo l'anno trascorso all'U-Power Stadium di Monza, infatti, la formazione di Stefano Vecchi giocherà le proprie gare casalinghe allo stadio Breda di Sesto San Giovanni, impianto già legato alla storia recente del club. Una scelta che era nell'aria e che chiude un capitolo poco fortunato sotto il profilo dei risultati in Brianza. Contestualmente, prende forma anche il programma estivo che accompagnerà i nerazzurri verso il nuovo campionato di Serie C.
Addio all'U-Power, tutt'altro che roccaforte
L'ufficialità del trasferimento di sede rappresenta una naturale evoluzione del progetto Under 23 ma arriva anche al termine di una stagione in cui il fattore campo non ha praticamente mai rappresentato un vantaggio. All'U-Power Stadium, l'Inter ha costruito soltanto una parte minima del proprio bottino: appena 17 dei 48 punti complessivi sono arrivati davanti al pubblico amico, frutto di tre vittorie, otto pareggi e altrettante sconfitte. Un rendimento che ha relegato i nerazzurri al terzultimo posto della speciale classifica casalinga e che ha inevitabilmente pesato nella mancata qualificazione ai playoff.
Il Breda di Sesto San Giovanni offrirà un contesto completamente diverso. Oltre a essere un impianto storicamente legato al club, avendo già ospitato Primavera e settore femminile, verrà dotato di un nuovo terreno di gioco ibrido sintetico-naturale, soluzione adottata anche a San Siro. L'obiettivo è quello di creare un ambiente più funzionale alla crescita della seconda squadra e maggiormente identificabile con il mondo nerazzurro, favorendo pure una maggiore vicinanza con il settore giovanile.
Estate già programmata: Livigno e cinque test prima della Serie C
Parallelamente al cambio di casa, l'Inter ha definito anche il programma che accompagnerà la squadra verso la nuova stagione. Il raduno è fissato per il 13 luglio al KONAMI Football Centre, mentre tre giorni più tardi il gruppo partirà per Livigno, sede del ritiro estivo fino al 25 luglio. Sarà lì che inizierà il lavoro di mister Vecchi e dello staff in vista di un campionato nel quale i nerazzurri cercheranno di confermare quanto di buono costruito nel primo anno, correggendo soprattutto le difficoltà emerse nel girone di ritorno.
Durante la preparazione sono in programma cinque amichevoli, utili sia per ritrovare il ritmo partita sia per valutare i numerosi giovani destinati a entrare nel progetto. Si partirà con l'US Grosio, per poi affrontare Novara, AlbinoLeffe, Lecco e Pergolettese in un percorso che offrirà gradualmente avversari sempre più probanti. Gli impegni ufficiali scatteranno invece nel weekend del 15-16 agosto con il primo turno di Coppa Italia Serie C, mentre il campionato prenderà il via una settimana più tardi.
Dopo un primo anno che ha lasciato in eredità molti insegnamenti, l'Inter U23 riparte quindi da una novità significativa. Il campo dirà se sarà sufficiente per invertire quel rendimento interno che, più di ogni altro fattore, ha impedito ai nerazzurri di prolungare la propria avventura oltre la regular season.

After the year spent at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, in fact, Stefano Vecchi's team will play their home matches at the Breda stadium in Sesto San Giovanni, a facility already linked to the recent history of the club. A choice that was in the air and which closes an unlucky chapter in terms of results in Brianza. At the same time, the summer program that will accompany the Nerazzurri towards the new Serie C championship is also taking shape.
Addio all'U-Power, tutt'altro che roccaforte
The official move of the venue represents a natural evolution of the Under 23 project but also comes at the end of a season in which the pitch factor has practically never represented an advantage. At the U-Power Stadium, Inter built only a minimal part of their haul: just 17 of the 48 overall points arrived in front of their friendly fans, the result of three wins, eight draws and the same number of defeats. A performance that relegated the Nerazzurri to third-to-last place in the special home standings and which inevitably played a role in their failure to qualify for the playoffs.
The Breda in Sesto San Giovanni will offer a completely different context. In addition to being a facility historically linked to the club, having already hosted the Primavera team and the women's sector, it will be equipped with a new hybrid synthetic-natural pitch, a solution also adopted at San Siro. The objective is to create an environment that is more functional for the growth of the second team and more identifiable with the Nerazzurri world, while also encouraging greater closeness with the youth sector.
Estate già programmata: Livigno e cinque test prima della Serie C
In parallel with the change of home, Inter has also defined the program that will accompany the team towards the new season. The meeting is scheduled for July 13th at the KONAMI Football Centre, while three days later the group will leave for Livigno, home of the summer training camp until July 25th. It will be there that the work of Mister Vecchi and the staff will begin in view of a championship in which the Nerazzurri will try to confirm the good things built in the first year, above all correcting the difficulties that emerged in the second round.
During the preparation, five friendly matches are scheduled, useful both for regaining match rhythm and for evaluating the numerous youngsters destined to join the project. We will start with US Grosio, and then face Novara, AlbinoLeffe, Lecco and Pergolettese in a journey that will gradually offer increasingly more challenging opponents. The official commitments will instead start on the weekend of 15-16 August with the first round of the Coppa Italia Serie C, while the championship will start a week later.
After a first year that left a legacy of many lessons, Inter U23 starts again with significant innovation. The field will tell whether it will be enough to reverse that internal performance which, more than any other factor, prevented the Nerazzurri from extending their adventure beyond the regular season.
